Anesthetic Vacancy

Anesthetic Vacancy

A Poem by Hello, Goodbye
"

the duality of hopeless absences..

"
the absence is creating in me,
a condition of emotional atrophy.
it saps away my energy,
disproportioning my gallantry.

the absence that is consuming me,
eats away all vitality.
while time is trouncing consistently,
numbing down all feelings of glee.

this absence that is haunting me,
is torturous.. could be the death of me.
sapping my vigor.. that I cannot breathe,
a soul numb and cold, despondency's audacity.

an emotional deadening...

an anesthetic vacancy.

You are master of comingling despondence and vocabulary so elegantly, so tantalizingly. Powerful, stellar stuff!

Absolutely stunning work love, so cool! Every line, image, numbing and swaying in a void!
Superb!

I feel the void, the absence, and the desire for fulfillment. To no longer be alone. A vapid wasteland consuming all meaning. Stunning in its vibrant portrayal of a hopeless absence.

stagnation...
we don't stay still in this life, no matter how much we wish to hold on to dear life to something gone...
it is an emotional deadening, a suffocation to the spirit
call it back.
