I'M so tired of being put down just like hush little boy don't make a sound

but i'm not a little boy i'm prepared to take the town

i'm not expecting things to fall at my feet and i know to get there will take a feat

but i know i can pull this off and get my sound on the street

just a little bit of effort some pushing out some raps

jumping over obsticles and skippin past traps

cause they say blood is thicker than water i disagree with that

there's so many things i've gone through with my homies i know this as a fact

they say i need a diploma to go anywhere in my life

i think i can make it by pushing through and past this strife

getting it all down to the point where i run my own mind

and where they're not worrying how i run my own life

so take me or leave me i won't force myself upon you
