We move lightly

We move lightly

A Poem by Yann Bellemare
"

heard a piano piece with the same title, inspired me to write this.

"

From the tip of your toes

goosebumps and freckles

trains and pebbles

we move lightly

tropics and sand

future unplanned

hold my hand

we move lightly

crossroads and puzzles

from the ritz to the rubble

stockholm syndrome

we move lightly

silence serenades

outlined scars

wash away bloodstains

we move lightly

mountains and fields

warm summer breeze

this moment...

please...

freeze...

I won't move an inch

Moments frozen in time in our minds from the good to the bad... This is beautifully written... My favorite lines are:
"Tropics and sand, future unplanned, hold my hand, we move lightly"
I loved this!

If only time lasted longer than a moment.

The title itself is so moving. Enjoyed reading your work. :)

freeze with me...and we will move lightly once we thaw out.

reminds me piano-wise of Vince Garauldi's "Cast your Fate to the Wind"

there is real feeling to your work, to your words.

Breathtakingly beautiful... this is a poetic symphony, each word a melody.

" silence serenades

listen to scars

wash away bloodstains

we move lightly"

I can play that tune over and over in my head, wonderful writing, Yann!
