First Impressions

First Impressions

A Poem by Julie Morgan

How different the world must look
When taken the time to look twice
To see the trees as they give us life
And to watch the ocean roar

How different the world would feel
When taken the time to appreciate
A flower’s beauty in its natural state
Rather than plucking it from its home

How different the world must be
Through eyes that do not judge
Until seeing more than only

A first impression

we all seem to take everything for granted and it does us well to stand back and think how unique we are as a race and how complex and beautiful our whole existence is...from the tiniest flea to the tallest mountain..we live in WONDERLAND....thanks for this..it has inspired me to write something on the same subject...though I mainly do comedy..so there's a challenge
