Vampire Within Me

Vampire Within Me

A Poem by Raven Moonchild

Apple of my eye,
slowly rots away.
Rubies cry;
stains in the day.
Starlight softly singing;
seeds from the core.
Voice of Moon ringing;
echos on the floor.
Rose petals rain,
as orchids turn to dust.
Tulips writhe in pain,
as the carnations rust.

Mother Nature sheds the tears taken from me;
trapped alone in eternity.
