that mistletoe ...

that mistletoe ...

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

Thinking back on a special moment on its anniversary

"

So long ago

that mistletoe ...

that moment in the sun

Oh, such a thrill

as time stood still

and two hearts beat as one

As years have passed

that mem'ry lasts

as very few have done

So long ago

that mistletoe ...

that moment in the sun.

Another lovely poem. It reads so well. It gives one the feeling of 'knowing' (and identifying) and also has mystery. What did happen in that moment in the sun? My imagination goes wild, thinking of my little moments in the sun. Thank you for sharing this cleverly structured poem.

Nae problem
That moment in the sun lingers long after its shadow has past. It comforts us, consoles us, and smiles within us when we're sad.

being with her, we didn't need mistletoe...kissing was so natural---and so naturally dizzying....wasn't just the sun melting me.
