Newtonian Sorrow

Newtonian Sorrow

A Poem by Doodley
"

Sonnet.

"
At pearl light from womb till Life's twilight gloam,
The heralded pinnacle did I seek,
Universal answers contained in tome,
I found upon a lonely mountain peak.

Soundless secrets whispered into eager ears,
Infused the tendrils of my wondrous mind,
As swollen eyes seduced of falling tears,
Belied the joyous knowledge I did find.

But, wisdom's words cannot be cast to wind,
Dispersed as worthless without solemn care,
Else in Creator's wrath she might rescind,
This knowledge she cloaks in rarefied air.

As seekers of secrets quest's do begin,
My Newtonian Sorrow breeds within.

Knowledge....a precious commodity and too often overlooked. Every person in the world can learn something from every other person. Newton's theory is applied! Well written sonnet. Lydi**

Wonderful in words and detail about your subject.
The flow is well-done.
The stanzas connect well as I read it and my favorite one is the beginning one.

This is a Superb Sonnet, Sunbae :-)
Quest of knowledge is something very sublime. I read somewhere that knowledge oriented life is the best one we can have. Wisdom is a bliss in itself. Acquiring knowledge is never an easy thing. Once received life is filled with joy. After acquiring, if it is not conveyed to or shared with others, it becomes useless. And it should reach to a worthy person otherwise its value become worthless. The transmission of it from one to another is very important, then knowledge can also have a life.
Your pieces are always complete, Sunbae. From the birth to end, even in the shortest pieces you try to include every detail, which is splendid.
Fantastic imagery and rhyming :-)
100/100
PS: (One fine day, I will also write a sonnet..it's gonna take time)
