A Poem by Doodley
"

Under the olives.

He kneels there solus,
Unbowed in anguish as the
Night whispers Betray.

Wow, "He kneels their souls unbowed in anguish as the night whispers betray"

Signifies that a demon impersonates an Angel with a sword and when the victims lower their guard, it cuts their heads, then they become whisperers for infinity because before reaching Heaven, they gave up as they kneeled, they looked down and they gave their heads to the demon disguised as an Angel.

Very well written.
'Night whispers betray'. Night is usually used as a symbol of pain and betrayal. People seek light in the darkness of night. But usually get astray. :) You've written it so good. *Best wishes*

I think this is the first haiku I've read of yours, Doodley but a powerful one, especially the last line! Poignant write.

So much suffered in a huddle of words. A tragedy in seventeen syllables and, incredibly moving.

Mr.Doodley, with very few words you have woven such strength. Alone is how we face our biggest battles, ugliest monsters and the sweetest stabs of betrayal.
A courageous write.

To betray is always about broken trust and no loyality remains,
short with punch, and it is agony to live with daily.

Thank you for reading and reviewing, Josie. I appreciate the insights.
Regardless of religious orientation (or lack there of) it is plausible to imagine that there was a good man by the name if Jesus that was persecuted for having radical ideas that threatened the moral high ground of those in power. In few short words you inspire strong feelings of desolation & injustice, and I admire words that make me feel.
