My Smoldering Soul

My Smoldering Soul

A Poem by MsJewel

When the night whispers cool and the curtains sway

and a chill finds my pillow…

I curl up in your blanket of warmth

head on your chest

legs tangled

hands…easy…

as my heart skips a beat

And I am inspired in a blend of joy and hopeless surrender

Rising with every kiss

my smoldering soul

flickering with desire

as warm as the blush licking your neck

igniting your fantasies

Leading you to the place where passion trembles

and roses burn

and flames

find the cool whispers ruined

Fan the flames darling…

I feel like fire

This is an awesome poem of mutual seduction! I love the way you take plenty of time to smolder . . . that's what makes this such a delightful read. Love the hot/cold imagery & realistic playful physical entanglements. Perfect building of tension & my favorite kind of ending . . . leaving plenty to the imagination! *smile* (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
