Holy Exchange

Holy Exchange

A Poem by Poppy Ruth Silver

Mind grieves
loss of ego
soul applauds

Dismemberment
severence
attonement

Mind grieves
soul whispers
look at the beauty

Loss of ego
is connection to all
sacred and holy

If I am misunderstood
and stand alone
then stand alone I shall

Release has found me
pain is no longer my own
I am home

The losses of ego allows the soul's inert beauty shine soul feel rejoiceful. When we let our spirit guide us we become better people. That sentiment seems to be a common teaching in many spiritual practices including mine but many times we fail to listen. Love this whole piece.

pain is no longer my own I am home. If we all could achieve that, can you imagine. An anthemic little poem, Poppy.
