It doesn't matter

It doesn't matter

A Poem by Avinash
"

It doesn't matter Your spelling mistake Not even birthday cakes For the heavens sake All that counts are Words spoken from souls

"
What all you did
Just slid the lid
To fool another one
With words and expressions
That was not your intention
You claimed a home
In a dome of presumed
But that consumed
All
Your dreams and desires
You could not even hire
Fake gestures
Before the curtain calls
You moth ball
The slickest of all
Lived on
When all dreams died
Like the rest of the world

As I read this, i could feel the emotionally charged nature of the words, but left wondering what had happened that brought all these emotions in the first place! It's a beautiful thing when a poem can leave the reader feeling so much while knowing so little. Good one :)

It sounds like someone came home but never recognized it was his home.

Thanks for your kind words.
A raw and brutal, succinct take on the sickest slick of them all... Mothballs and gall... Slid the lid over fake gestures... Very well penned...

Honest, true and powerful use of words and thoughts. The poem told the truth. It seem us and world forget the goals/dreams and slowly become empty. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

You are welcome my friend.
Yeah, I know this well as many creative souls do...as always you place the pinnacle on point with poignancy...the ending of this really speaks volumes...where does the cycle end? Perhaps not in our lifetime but then again once you understand human nature and that we possibly live in a matrix system it comes as no surprise...sadly ♥
