Clouds (revised)

Clouds (revised)

A Chapter by Debbie Barry

Revised in 11th grade, from a poem about clouds.

Clouds (revised)

Revised December 18, 1985

Castles of roses,
Creatures so strange,
Forever changing,
Forever changed.

Billowing high
On wings like the dove's,
Borne up by Zephyr
And immortal love.

The source of much fancy,
Every babe's goal,
Pure and forever,
They inspire the soul.

For Robert Hutchins with many thanks.
