Sunday

Sunday

A Poem by +she plays with matches+

God help me
for faking these orgasms beneath the sheets.
I'm waiting for a bloody war
I'm waiting for Jesus to mean what he said.
I'm waiting for the chaos to be gone from my head.

This is intense! When most writers insert disturbing allusions and imagery into their writes, it usually comes off as more angsty than touching.

However, this poem is an exception: your allusions and imagery are unique (no one would ever expect the themes of lust and Jesus in the same dark write). I've learned something new today about writing emotionally raw poems in the future, just by reading this. Thanks for publishing "Sunday". xoxo

Hum, again I love this. I believe sex is and should be an act that is tied to not just our body, but our spirit, our soul, our heart and our mind.

O' You wild one .. You really now drove me damn crazy about white bed-sheets... lol (Joke)

I liked the poem but i hate seeing when someone as damn gorgeous as you get some hurt by someone ... and i hope the guy's damn lucky who's gonna enjoy your orgasms beneath the sheet or over the bed-sheets ... lol AND yeah .. i hope too that he knows how lucky he'd be to be dating you... ahh .. suck kinda good and handsome guys just as same as me always miss the chance to enjoy the time with wild beautiful cats as same as you ... anyway, Hope he keeps you into the arms of flower.

I liked the theme. You rock!

I sense chaos in this all the way through and when the war begins more lies will be told.

I love the fact this is titled "Sunday" and is a sermon in itself :)
Not just the head here...tis the whole blooming essence of us/life that is daily run and that is so powerfully voiced, as always...
Just awesome!

Excellent one....

I feel so many contradictions flow through this piece, sharp thoughts, doubts, sufferings, mixed up with believe, and disbelieve, well conveyed.... you always provoke thoughts, like no other! ;) xx
