A Poem by Jeff Bresee

Had one of the lines pop into my head yesterday, and just had to build from there to see where it went.

Do what you must to ensure they don’t see.

Rationalize and pretend it won’t be.

Wish it away to escape from it all.

Cover it up like the paint on the wall.

Cloaked in thin layers of varying hue,

carefully crafted to keep it from view.

Yes, do all you can with all effort and might.

Exert every effort to keep it from sight.

Do that which you must, but soon you will see…

You can’t wish away what is destined to be.

I like this. Sometimes we really do want to hide from our destiny or fate. I guess it's best to just accept what comes our way....good or bad :)
