Meander

Meander

A Poem by Story Teller Tales and Poems

Meander

Hidden in a cloud the Sun sleeps
Unhindered and profound the Moon peeps
Majestic is her glory
Untold her true story
Distant ne’er revelatory
Awaken now Sun…
Keep her secrets safely tucked away

Little girl lives down the lane
Looking through the window pane
Afraid in the night
Mother’s words give no respite
Quickly turn off the light
Sleep now dear child…
Someday this will all make sense

Lady with a fan on a hot summer day
Hypnotic gait, O her graceful sway
See it in her eyes
The times that she has cried
He was her demise
Fear not dear lady…
The love within you is waiting to be born
