Eternal Mirrors

Eternal Mirrors

A Poem by Sami Khalil
"

Tomorrow in light of the past and today...Eternal mirrors stand for eternal perceptions of the self and others. A life, philosophy poem.

"

Eternal Mirrors/................By Sami Khalil
Tomorrow in light of the past and today...
To err is human, to forgive is divine, to forget is both.

The Poem:
........................................................................................

Tomorrow
Shadows our body
Stirs up our gypsy
Fiddles our fancy
Separates duality
Defines an eternity!

Tomorrow stretches truthful versions of non-affordable luxuries strung between shades of after births, blushing in caution of kite fly and variables of winds, being the care giver of bewilderment for helpless children leaving cradles of emotions and frames of minds.

Tomorrow gathers us around bonfires of star shimmies, hung in fickle balances of hairline fractures with unbearable morphs, between nudges and budges of shape-shifting the darker edges of vacuumed intensity for fear of vanishing into tendrils of twilight.

For, if there were no tomorrows, we will never grow in wisdom, shrink in shame or reach the noblest of summits.

Then, today, rescue yourselves midst the daily storms, finding a safe shelter to rest after the frustrations and isolations.

For finite happiness is possible in an objective reality as infinite joy is possible in a spacial infinity.

Ask yourselves this circular question;" Did I forget to live, to love, to forgive?"
Wisely live, unconditionally become the love and sincerely forgive yourselves and others.

Wow. Thank you kindly. ....
if tomorrow never comes will i have regret for what I did not forgive from yesterday. Every step we have taken in life....since birth....comes with lessons attached. Resilience is the key and to learn to live, love, forgive but never forget along the way is fundamental to our own personal existence.

Loved this one Sami....I hope you are well.

How many tomorrows will it take for most human beings to finally forgive themselves for what they see as grave sins?l This, it seems to me, may be our most difficult--and necessary--task.
"Eternal Mirrors" is an exquisite piece; clearly reflecting the beauty of profound truth.

I very much like the circular question that you pose. We live and we die. What we do in in the circle of life is what defines us, and the legacy that we leave for future generations. Simply adored this, Sami.

Wow, what a contrast between the opening stanza and the following
I can see you are playing with the poetry now. But it is pretty hard for me to penetrate those stanzas that are one long run on sentence. When those two stanzas are done it is a relief to read the rest
I get a sense of mirroring chaos and peace

yes, live wisely....after birth we will fly the kite of life...against sometimes the most solemn winds, the strongest gusts of adversity...
we can only hope to keep it as steady as we can...and stay up in the air against the greatest tension...

but wave freely and steadily through life...

insightful poem, Sami.
