Truth

Truth

Truth requires change and change requires truth...A philosophical write...

Truth/…………………………….By Sami Khalil

It is not too late to change the self or things. Change requires truth.Truth requires change from us.

 The Poem:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Truth can be:

Absolute or relative

Ancient or new

Decoyed or revealed

Ugly or beautiful

Offensive or defensive

Lost or mapped out

Naive or by rote (experienced)

Bringing discomfort or comforting, in the conference of trodden reality

and the limits of the “self.”

Truth is…

That today is the first day of everyone’s eternity,

To define its curves, to revisit the verbiages and lessons of life,

Where humans can find their own niches, in an order or out of an order, with a bit of sifting…

The way life was meant to be.

Truth is…

That today is the day of change, in the gathered remains of shells and beautiful wrecks of individualism,

where change requires different outcomes, otherwise it is insanity doing the same things expecting different results. And change does require tangibles, for things that do not touch us will not pain us or heal us, in the process of trials and tribulations, till the next verses and chapters of life.

Then, truth is…

Today is the day to spread your Phoenix…and rise.

Many profound insights artfully expressed.
It seems to me that the ultimate and complete truth is God; someone or something we humans are presently--and will most likely forever be--incapable of fully comprehending.
For our everyday purposes, we work with tiny pieces of truth; these are what we can glean, they are all we can handle.
A great read, Sami; one that virtually radiates wisdom.

outstanding opening and a great ending too. You seem to have been in a philosophical mood lately. Enjoyed it as always.

I enjoyed, and learned a lot from your poem.

I have one question tough.
This line:-

"Truth is…
That today is the first day of everyone’s eternity,"

What do you meant when you said eternity. Whose eternity are you talking about. I mean humans don't live for eternity and I certainly can't relate it to others things which lives for eternity.
So, can you please explain these lines.

First of all, thank you for taking your time to read my poem(s). Second of all thanks for sharing.

The topic itself is really interesting and complex. I myself often come to the conclusion that objective truth doesnt exist or at least cannot be measured by us, humans.

"...in the gathered remains of shells and beautiful wrecks of individualism,"
Could you perhaps tell me more about what exactly is it that you meant by this line?

Change requires/involves learning the truth.

This " Truth" of yours and my " Starvation" are somewhat similar in meaning ( if one will delve into one of the intended messages I wanted to deliver ), collective or creative consciousness, I daresay...
