After Dark - Chapter Fifty-One

A Chapter by lawrence bear

For the days that followed, Gregory tossed and turned shivering off and on as his body fought the fever. He screamed every now and then as visions of the Grizzly tore at him greatly, haunting his dreams, tormenting him. The bullets he fired did nothing to it as it stood on its hind legs giving a loud roar. The bear charged and pounced at him. Gregory found himself wrestling the enormous beast; he clutched its forelegs as the bear tried to claw at him. The bear roared. Gregory yelled. He found himself sitting in bed, “This cursed dream.” He said before falling back in exhaustion and slip away into the darkness once again.
