My good friend Gregory has paid me a visit today, I am glad he came. I was feeling a little reckless being cooped up in the house all this time. I feel much better today; I had no dreams, well none to recall, which is good.

Gregory had some daunting news to tell me, one I didn’t want to hear of. He spoke of the cliff, where he believed that thing had fallen off. He tracked to where we were that night, which where he went to look for it at the bottom. Only to find, there was nothing. Not a thing, no blood, no tracks. He was certain it was the place, but told me that he and Rudy were to go out and search the area more.

My heart quickened when he told me this. I found myself gazing the hills and landscape while Gregory spoke, I wasn’t paying any attention, as my mind raced. Thoughts, words ran through my head and I am not sure if they escaped my mouth. I did however catch myself, ‘Game on!’ it sounded with a growl and how my blood was fuelled with rage. An entity of some sort scorned the beast.

I am not sure if I was even present at the time. Gregory asked if I was feeling well, as I seemed to speak with anger. I have startled him with my reactions, on how I have claimed it was my territory. The look in his eyes was questionable towards me. Was he speaking to someone else? The meeting may have made him uneasy to be around me, so he said he was going out to the place. I walked him out onto my landing, and stood as he rode off. And for some reason, it appeared my sense of smell was keen. I could smell his shaving cream and how his steed was foul-smelling. I looked upon my own hands asking myself “What is happening? What is wrong with me? Am I becoming something else?” questions I had no answer for.
