Pet Pig

Pet Pig

A Chapter by Dave Brown
"

yes

"

I bought my pet pig

His very own pet

He had been quite demanding

Oft becoming very upset

And to relieve him of

His obsessive mindset

I succumbed to his wishes

Hoping I wouldn’t regret

Then my pet Pig’s pet grew

To be the larger of the two

And with each glance

Its brain size increased too

Until, by more than just chance

It became an incomparable

Genius in finance

My pet Pig became wildly jealous

With behavior less than funny

So, we ate pork for a month

While counting our money

My neighbors, new to our parts. Nuevo Riche perhaps, but lovely people, had a pet pig. Pearl, the pig adopted me because I fed her dog biscuits every morning. One morning she visited and I could see she was very blue, though she still ate my biscuits. I called my neighbor who explained that Pearl had turned over a paint can on a tarp then had herself a good wallow.
I like your poem.

I've never had that experience . . . a piggy bank wildly expanding! *wink! wink!* I may be in the minority here, but I'd rather have a live pig & spend the cash on pork loin of a different source! Your synapses continue making the strangest & most unexpected connections! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Very funny Julie, was it not curiosity that did terminal damage to the cat?

Oh ok
Thanks
I had no idea you could get koalas overseas
pulled pork? pork loin, pork chops, pork ribs....and now the money's all spent.
Now we are eating chicken for the next month...and very poor ones at that.

Yes, and the "financial genius."
He-he! I tell ya, life is mighty hard for pigs. Quite a clever one, Dave.
