The Prince

The Prince

A Chapter by Dave Brown

The prince wishes to be a prize

In each bonnie lassies eyes

Jewels adorn his regal hair

He breathes only purified air

His clothes of the finest

Made just for his royal highness

Swept first, where he walks

It is to others, first he talks

Yet cordial to the extreme

Nails clipped and princely clean

On a throne he may sit

With no unwanted odor to emit

But about him, one surprise

He unfortunately was born

With three cockeyes

Often staring at each other

So sadly rued by his dear mother

And so these two, side by side

Together, seek far and wide

For a one eyed bride
