Battle of Time

Battle of Time

A Poem by JE Falcon

Description of a Battle that goes on forever.

On a mighty steed dressed for battle

rode the Knight of a Thousand Eyes

in a silver suite of armor fashioned

from the lightning bolt within the skies.

Then from the night came the Shadow King

dressed in black, both him and his steed,

their armor was cast from Vanity's fire.

His Sword was lies and his Lance was greed.

Into the valley of "The Lost and Forgotten"

they lead their armies at an unknown cost.

And when the years drifted away

they found no winners, for everyone was lost.
