Starlight's Mist

Starlight's Mist

A Poem by JE Falcon
"

It's a tale being told about mystical search and what was found.

"

I searched for the place called the Starlight's Mist

Where dragons flew and gods were kissed.

Where angles tried to save mankind,

They fell to earth and were left behind.

I searched and searched for the legends, old,

For the leprechauns and their pots of gold;

For the golden goose, and the wealth she brings,

For the magic harp with the golden strings.

I traveled so near, and I traveled too far

To see the Man in the Moon, and the Wishing-star.

And I must say, I have stories to tell,

But I must tell them for free, for none can I sell.

Yes,

I searched for the place called the Starlight's Mist

Where dragons flew and gods were kissed,

Where angles tried to save mankind

But tripped on their pride and were left behind.
