A Poem by Miranda Olsen

As I run, I forget to breathe
My lungs are still, my mind at peace

I'm frozen in time, the clock stands still
But I keep running, running, against my will

I've forgotten why I started this race
I try and remember, but the reason escapes

All I know is I can't slow down
I have to keep going, around and around

When I fall, I pick myself up
I can't slow down, and I can't ever stop

I don't know where the finish line lays
But I have to keep running until I find it some day.
