petals full of thanksgiving

petals full of thanksgiving

A Poem by Snowfrost Moth

the rain falling steadily
is a kiss of blessing
and a song of life
it writes poems in the soil
that no man could ever hope to write

lilies bloom
their petals full of thanksgiving
tomorrow, the oven,
but today they sway and pray
in the kind and gentle wind
