Alexia

A Poem by Siege Powell
"

For you my love...

"
You were born into a miasma
Of pure love and pure despair
You spent your whole childhood waiting
For someone to love you, for someone to care.
And here you are now
An adult out here on your own
Still searching for your footing
A true place to call your home.
And while you've found love my dear
And you emanate it with such grace
Don't forget that you, most importantly,
Need to see the glory of your space.
You love others so purely
And you idiosyncrasies are yours alone
You've invited this chaos of energies
To feel safe inside your zone.
I am so glad you have found you
To witness your beauty with my own to eyes
I just want you to see it too
And cease sacrificing parts of your life.
Your soul is nothing but glory
And of course your life is your own
But I behest you see your beauty
And clear the cobwebs from your home.
You are pure joy
You are pure love
You are the essence of life
Your soul fits mine just like a glove.
