cold case

cold case

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

cold case

notions

evidence

love suspected

love inflicted

heart in circumstantial flight

crime scene interrogation

inflammation as emotion

sings

but this bird cannot remember

what happened

heart in circumstantial flight

love inflicted

love suspected

evidence

notions

cold case.

You capture that confounded human tendency to miss half the details when immersed in a crime scene! Our blindness is compounded by criminal love (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

this has the feeling of all those unsolved crimes that seem to get swept under the carpet or love affairs that somehow slipped away

I appreciate your extended visit and time you have spent reading my words, Unspoken.

Not sure with this one J, but I am getting the feeling of love gone cold. Maybe a betrayal of sorts. That would certainly involve a crime scene investigation in my book. Been there and carried out the investigation. That certainly brings on a cold spell. I am shivering here.

You are spot on, Chris...I've left too many cold cases in the wind of my sails.

This I see in the cold light of evidence lamps. spotlighted words appeared before it all came together for me and as Poirot used to say my little grey cells. Excellent piece of creative evidence Jacob.

I love the gradient repetition at the beginning and it being flipped at the end. Says more that what it seems. Really ties everything together.
