~ Heart of fire, mind of ice ~
Hi everyone :) I'm Bailey. Coby is okay too, if you're already used to that ;p
I'm a seventeen year old that lives in Michigan. I love to read, and obviously I love to write.
I really only have poetry on here. I have a bunch of ideas written down for stories and books though. I have one book on here that needs to be re-done totally, as I had started writing it quite a while ago and always want to change it. I guess that's how the writing process is though, isn't it? I generally write YA, fiction, poetry, and dabble in fantasy and romance.
My biggest inspirations in writing, besides the people in my life, are Sarah Dessen, J.K Rowling, Jodi Picoult, Ellen Hopkins, Laurie Halse Anderson, and Nicholas Sparks. The way they write to me is just unbelievable.
I read all read requests that I get. I receive many from my friends on here, it takes me a long time to get through them. Patience, please.
If you review my writing, I add you as a friend and review one of yours. :) I like new friends, I don't bite, add me!
As for group requests, I accept them if I decide that it's geared more towards my personality/writing.
What else is there to know about me...I play the flute and am in marching band :) I have this thing for names. I guess I consider myself a Christian, though I don't practice and am not religious, though I do have a few poems relating to angels, since I collect them and think they're stunning :) I've had a boyfriend since October 20th, 2011.
I'm a bit odd, but isn't everyone?
Anything else you wanna learn, you can by shooting me a message. Good day :)
I know!! This Lullaby was probably my 2nd favorite, next to The Truth About forever which I LOVED :) I still have to read Someone Like You, That Summer, and Keeping the Moon...and I feel your pain, I have no money to buy books either haha
I LOVE Sarah Dessen. I own all her books and read them almost every day :D Not sure if you've read "This Lullaby", but the character Dexter was the inspiration for the character Pearson in my novel "Pearson." :)
