About Me
I am a Christian with a deep faith.....but not overly religious. I believe that faith is something we share by the way we live and reach out in love to all others....NOT something for me to preach AT others....and it does flow through many of my poems....but not all of them. If I wrote a book about my life, people would probably think it was fiction.
Writing has long been my passion and my therapy, though many times I was too busy to write. But that changed drastically when I was hit head-on by a speeding impaired driver in July 2007. Nobody expected me to live or even come out of my coma. No doubt, I was sent back for a reason.....my work must not be finished yet. So now time is all I have....as I sit here in my wheelchair, having lost a leg and broken and/or crushed over 30 bones including my neck. However, now, typing is extremely painful since my hands and arms were badly broken and an aggressive arthritis has set into all the breaks and joints. So, I type things in segments and different sittings until I am ready to post. While I do read a lot of writes, I am often not able to type a comment at that time....and sometimes I forget to go back to do so. So please be patient with me, my friends.
