About Me

So...I am a Leo with a fire burning in my heart
I had a multi-national upbringing with Buddhist, Shaman and Catholic influences instilling in my spirit a need to travel, learn, discover new wonders in both the world and most poignantly within myself.
I soaked up Oscar Wilde, Celtic mysticism and W.B. Yeats in my wild, carefree Irish childhood, molding me into an expressful romantic, a lover of beauty, an empathiser of tragedy and an explorer of the mysteries of the mind and soul.
I chose the pen name 'footprints' because I believe that my writing is a reflection of my journey.. each moment an imprint of my soul - encompassing all that i am. The quest for - who am I?

Seeing as I have just started writing, any constructive feedback is more than welcome. I don't know what makes a good poem - I just know I like it when I can identify with the theme, or it touches me in some way.

I write from the soul...

I appreciate the review. I had heard one of those sum it up 60 sec radio spots for a reality show and thought I needed to try and do that with a poem
