I sometimes write traditional, rhyming poems. Most poems I write are free verse and sometimes prose. I write a lot about the emptiness inside of me. The love I yearn for, the betrayal I have known since a young girl, all come from a place deep inside of me; a place I truly do not wish to go. And that is why I write.

I'm currently 20 and have been writing for about 5 years. To be honest, I don't read much from poets' stuff, though I do love Poe's "The Raven", and admire Tupac Shakur's book of poems "The Rose That Grew From Concrete"
