20 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME:
1. I find myself having deep conversations with strangers in random places. People just naturally approach me all the time. I don’t know if that’s a good thing but the experience is entertaining.

2. I am a biology graduate. You heard me right. Research is one of my loves. I still enjoy writing though.

3. My favorite fruits are blueberries. They are sweet and juicy. Oh and they’re blue. Clementines are a close second.

4. I have wanderlust. I enjoy traveling and going on road-trips with friends and family. I like to explore alone too whether it is museums, ruins, architecture, or the country life.

5. Hiking and going to the gym are some of my other hobbies. The satisfaction that I am stronger today than I was yesterday is priceless.

6. I like sunshine, rain, and snow… just not when they’re all mixed together.

7. I dance in the rain when no one is watching or try to ‘forget’ my umbrella going home if I have spare time. The rain makes me really happy and dancing in it is a stress reliever.

8. My favorite fairytale is The twelve dancing princesses. I have no explanation why. I just really like the story.

9. Ring around the roses is one of my favorite poems probably because most people don’t know its cultural significance. I used to sing it as a kid and when I grew older, I found out it’s about the Black Death.

10. I dream a lot and most of these dreams are nightmares. So when I write, I do have a feel for sensory details because I have lived through it in a sense.

11. I’m not photogenic. The good pictures my friends take of me are moments where I had to stare at a garbage can or a stop sign behind the camera.

12. I’m ambidextrous. I am a natural lefty but was raised as a righty. End result I can use both hands equally although my left hand is more dominant.

13. Milkshakes or alcohol? Milkshakes. Milkshakes win hand down. I will guzzle three or four milkshakes and I can still keep going.

14. My sense of humor is on the kid side. What’s brown and sticky? A stick. I still laugh every time I hear it.

15. I’m vegetarian, a picky vegetarian. So, I don’t like salads. Wraps and burgers I tolerate. I’m more of a curry, noodle, pasta type – spicy food.

16. Some people carry lipstick and a pocket mirror or gum inside their bags. I have that and a small bottle of tabasco or Siracha in my bag for those days where everything is bland and has no soul. I need it spicy.

17. I listen to a variety of music. Seriously, there could be a wide spectrum. I listen to world music too- French, german, greek, latin …. There’s no end.

18. I am scared of escalators, the down escalator in particular because my cousin once told me that once, a girl missed a step and she tumbled down the escalator. Apparently, her body got shredded by the thing at the end. I hope you know what I’m referring to. It is irrational I know, but I always to this day pause a bit before I get on or off the escalators.

19. I like action movies and thrillers: zero dark thirty, gone girl, gladiator, dark knight rises, Marvel/DC etc.

20. Batman was my first love for a very long time. So to my future S.O, I expect you to embody some of his morale. But… don’t dress up like a bat please.
