About Me

Hello, Darlings!

I am a published author, and a legal assistant, as well as the mother of a 15-year-old son. In addition to writing novels, I enjoy singing and playing piano, writing poetry and songs, and doing the occasional public performance, although my public performances are quite rare now, due in part to my age.

I am into fitness and nutrition, and believe that most everyone eats more food and calories than what they truly need each day, if they were honest with themselves. My belief is that if everyone ate only what their bodies required, there would be no such thing as a food shortage. Likewise, I believe that if everyone exercised as much as they should, the general health of the world would greatly improve and there would be no need for any major healthcare reform. (Yes, that's right -- just put that tidbit into all your little peace-pipes and smoke it up, why dontcha?)

Other subjects that I'm into are metaphysics, spiritualism and other mystical subjects - basically anything that is not of the norm. I love the outright weird, and I'm not afraid of the dark! I am a very spiritual person; I write about stuff having to do with the inner life or world; i.e., the mind, where thought patterns, ideas and ideals, emotions and personal insight and interpretation exist.

My closest friends - and over the years, no doubt, countless others - have likened my physical appearance and mannerisms to that of Mr. Freddie Mercury. Indeed, there is a very spiritual reason for this, which has nothing whatsoever to do with anything physical. In other words, to answer your question - no, I am not physically related to Mr. Mercury. Our affiliation has more to do with spirit than the physical plane, if that makes any sense. Get to know my writings and this concept will become more clear to you all, I'm sure.

I'm the author of a new novel series called The Looking Glass. The Looking Glass: Facing the Bad Ghost (LG1) is the 1st novel; The Looking Glass: Reverse Synchronicity (LG2) is the 2nd; The Looking Glass: The Eighth Door (LG3) will be the 3rd, and God only knows what the 4th book will be titled! (lol -- I'm still working on the re-write to LG 2, and a rough first draft of LG3.)

I sent a copy of the first published novel in the Looking Glass series (LG1: Facing the Bad Ghost) to actor/writer David Thewlis for his perusal prior to taking the book to global distribution status. The book officially went global on 17 March 2012 (St. Patty's Day!) lol

LG2: Reverse Synchronicity (Reverse Sync) will not be available for publication until much later in the future, as I am having to do a major re-write to the entire work.

Also, there has been a bit of controversy involving the fact that there is a werewolf in LG1. I am officially stating that this has nothing whatsoever to do with the Harry Potter franchise. The werewolf character parallel is only coincidence ... and the man behind the role - his sign under the American Indian zodiac is a wolf. (Anyone born under the starsign Pisces is also a wolf.) (Pisces is opposite Virgo.)

It was told to me from the beginning that I would know my true soul mate (or twin flame) by the sign of 'the wolf'. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was indeed the film where I first discovered him (as in the man behind the role). So, there it is ... 'the wolf' explained, and, although similar to a certain character in the Harry Potter films, my character is based upon the American Indian zodiac sign of 'the wolf' and not Harry Potter.

If you wish to keep track of the status of the Looking Glass novel series, you can refer to my website http://saramercuryonline.yolasite.com for further details. (The link of the website in my profile is my other one, so be sure to type in the saramercuryonline address manually in your web browser or you will end up on my fitness site!) LG1 can be read online for FREE both on Writer's Cafe and my website in PDF format. It is currently available for sale on lulu.com as a hardcover book, as well as an E-book. (The e-book is only $3.00). The book should be available on global markets like Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com/Amazon.co.uk very soon.

For the majority of people out there, the LG books are difficult to comprehend, and the concepts therein only serve as the basis for confusion, misinterpretation and outright controversy. I didn't set out writing the LG books to please anyone, and the reasons why they are being written are very, very personal to me as well as the certain other individuals who are involved on a spiritual level.

All the best –
Sara...

Wait, actually I think I received a grade of B because of writing in the present tense while writing about a past event ( since really I began reliving the moment it was difficult not to make the mistake). This version of the story was a five minute rewrite with no indented paragraphs. The story was really meant to present, capture and transport the reader and transplant them into the scene or moment.
Although I do admit there is a few dull spots. Keep in mind that the story is not meant to be analyzed by your everyday reader and is after all only a short story. Thanks for the comment though.
