MaRmAlAdE

I'm in grad. School and working on my first nonfiction book. I write poetry everyday. I've lived a life of happiness, heartbreak, disappointments, and successes. Hence, I am the creator of harmony and at the same time destruction. My actions once led me astray. Today my actions lead me upward. I would give anything to able to help one person "not" walk in my shadow or footsteps. It's taken me 18 years to pursue the path that I set out to walk when I was 19 years old. I wouldn't say the entire 18 years was a waste of time. However, it was jam packed with lessons on what not to do. I did manage to get a college degree (in 1993 which I don't use) and raise a wonderful son whom is now loose in the world. I am very proud of him and crazy enough he seems to be the most well adjusted person in my immediate family. I have so much respect for young people who know what they want out of life and actually pursue their dreams. I've skated through life seeming to onlookers that I was great at. It turns out I sucked at it! Now I look at the world differently. I believe that everyday is a new beginning. I want to live every breath for my future. I love meeting new people. I learn something new every day from interacting with others. I can't count the number of people who touch my soul on a daily basis.
