DetailsWeek (2) had (8) Entries; (7) Qualifying Entries. Excellent!! Thank You!! I encourage my Cafe Friends & Others to Come take the Challenge! I've always loved this contest on Writing dot com. Creative minds need challenging and this is a great way to do it. RULES Write a 100 Word Story (Any Genre, No Prompt) **Not 101, Not 99** NO Repeat of ANY word! ** Words like (I've) will be counted as (1) word for the purpose of this contest. (I've) is I HAVE, so you may NOT use (I) or (have) again in the story. ** Hyphenated words will be counted as (2) words. ** You may use plural-forms of words; i.e. horse, horses ** You may use verb tenses; i.e. gallop, galloping ** I use http://www.wordcounter.com to check for repetition of words. I suggest you do the same. Answer YES to the first question. Answer NO to the second question. Type 100 in Words to be Listed. Simply Copy & Paste your entry into text box. ** I Manually count your words! I do NOT use programs to do it. I suggest you do the same! ** Best Rule of Thumb? Have Fun! *if you think you can write a 100 word poem, repeating no word; GO For It! Put your creative cap on and come up with a short story about anything that comes to mind. YOU CAN DO IT!! Take the Challenge! My Example:
HAPPY TALES, Wicahpi Iyozaza Please be sure to make any corrections that I have suggested in your review. I.E. Word count is off and/or Repeat of Words. I hate to take away prizes or disqualify any poem. However, for the sake of this contest, I will do so, if need be. As a dear fellow writer said, "RULES ARE RULES"! PrizesMetals of Honor
