Quite a few people I've met write horror like it's water off a ducks back and think no more about what they've written. I've never known one so far that actually sits back, and looks at what they have written and think - damn - I've spooked myself. I want a story that will spook you - the writer as much as me - the reader.
Just remember the rule - don't use over the top gore. Sometimes less is more....

Stories to be no longer than 5000 words.
