Reading and Deliberating
DetailsI am a fan of high fantasy, also known as epic fantasy, being "a subgenre of fantasy that is set in invented or parallel worlds."
Wikipedia describes the three subtypes nicely: "--- A setting in which the primary world does not exist (e.g. The Lord of The Rings, The Prydain Chronicles,The Inheritance Cycle, The Wheel of Time, A Song of Ice and Fire, The Name of the Wind) --- The secondary/parallel world(s) is entered through a portal from the primary world (e.g. Alice in Wonderland, The Chronicles of Narnia,[4] His Dark Materials, Xanth, The Dark Tower, and Avantasia) --- A distinct world-within-a-world as part of the primary world (e.g. Gods of Pegana, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter and The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel)" Anything meeting these criteria can be submitted. In short, just something of the fantasy genre, stories, poetry, or books (if book, I promise to read at least the first two chapters). Special bonus to those least cliche. Just no vampires, werewolves, or sci-fi please. Onwards and upwards! Thank you. Prizes$0.00, Reviews, critiques, read requests, and anything else your heart desires of that nature (just message me).
