Fictionborn's - Flash Fiction Contest  March 6, 2013 - March 13, 2013

This contest will accept any work of fiction that does not exceed 1,000 words. Any genre is allowed (within the literary stream of fiction). Each contestant can submit one work of his/her choice and hopefully with a confident feeling to be awarded.

Stories will be judged on structure, suspense, setting, characters involved, creativity/originality, grammar and conflict & resolution (if applicable).

Keep in mind that these stories will be judged by a hobby writer and consequently show personal preferences which are not supported by professional experience.

Optionally, you could write a completely new story that is written with the theme being 'predator becomes the prey'. No further restrictions apply, other than the word limit of 1,000.

In order to encourage new writers to submit their works as well, I shall review all submissions (if the number of submissions doesn't grow to a staggering size) and leave whatever advice I can think off.
