It is National Poetry Month and WV Writers and Poets are writing CHUGs!  April 4, 2009 - May 22, 2009

April is National Poetry month and we can�t let this celebration go by at WV Writers and Poets without at least one prompt (maybe even two or three)!

So, poets! To celebrate National Poetry month�here is a prompt:

This form is called CHUG. (because it chugs up and down hills like a little train). It describes colour and the title must name the colour the poet is writing about.

A CHUG has four stanzas and a stanza is comprised of 4 lines:

Stanza I
The first line is one syllable;
Second line has two syllables;
The third line has three syllables;
And the fourth line has ten syllables.
