Reading and Deliberating

Details

If you have an idea or opinion that could change people's perspectives, then write about it. You might have the opportunity to have your opinion viewed by hundreds.

Write about your idea in an essay format, no longer than 2,500 words. Include pictures to support your essay.

All works must be original, including pictures.

Submitted ideas must be backed up with legitimate facts and other people's opinions in order to be considered. The opposing argument must also be considered and discussed in the essay.

Keep the essay organized and professional.

Enter any submissions in this contest, and also send them, as well as any accompanying files (I.E. pictures, audio recordings) to [email protected] with the email subject in the following format "Issue 1 submission;(YourFullName):(Headline)"

Quality photography is a requirement and recordings of interviews is advised.

Notice: Before publishing, the author will be contacted and asked to publish their work. In the event that permission is not granted, or a response is not given within one week of being contacted, the author of the 'honorable mention' article will be offered publication.
