Mastodon Dentist needs fine poetry for upcoming issue  February 10, 2009 - February 22, 2009

One of the poetry magazines I edit, Mastodon Dentist (www.mastodondentist.com), needs work for its upcoming Spring Issue, due out this April. The "official" reading period is closed at this time but we are a little short and need to fill 5 pages with excellent poems. The theme, if you will, is "The Lovers." That means many things, not limited to romantic love. We typically prefer lyrical poems versus narrative and do not enjoy obvious rhyme schemes (we like free verse). All those over the age of 18 are welcome to enter. The age requirement is mandatory. No kidding. The top five will be published. I am not judging them as first, second, third, etc. That's not the point of this. If you want to be a part of something instead of apart from, this is your contest. Time is short, so don't wait. Send your absolute best!
