Details What comes to mind when you think of October? A spooky story, a nightmarish dream? Autumn leaves? A walk in the woods, or a horseback ride on a crisp Autumn day? Maybe it's the smell of Apple country with the different apples ready for harvest and the freshly churned apple butter and fresh pressed apple cider! Write a poem and/or a story of what October brings to your mind. Poems and stories NOT written for this contest will NOT be considered. I do check the date! This is a monthly writing assignment. It matters not what you wrote last month, six months ago, or five years ago. The idea is to bring your muse out to play; Johnny on the Spot, so to speak!
