The Blood that Binds  June 1, 2007 - July 11, 2007

In 2001, my first novel was published. It was titled, The Blood that Binds. It is a story of family and fantasy. Write me a short story -- under 5000 words -- or a poem -- up to 1000 words -- that deal with family in a fantasy world. These two elements, family and fantasy, must be integral part of the story. Neither could be removed and the story/poem work.

Any entry that doesn't meet this criteria won't be considered.

Winner will receive an autographed copy of The Blood that Binds (which is no longer available new)

Second prize is a copy of my fairytale poetry collection Straying from the Path

Third prize will be a copy of my Young Adult fantasy The Right Hand of Velachaz

Contest will end on my birthday. :)
