DetailsThere is evidence that the gap between have's and have-not's is widening in most areas of the world. There are wild accusations and generalities thrown around, and many have little bearing on the truth- that the roots of poverty run deep, and they are very tangled. There is no single statement that can be made about the source of economic or spiritual poverty.
That being said, you r challenge is this: write about poverty, and what it means to you when you hear the word. Examine your own beliefs, and those of others. Tell us your experience- or lack of it- with this tough issue. Help show that there is more to this issue than simply "lazy people who don't want to get ahead", or, alternatively, if that is what you truly believe, tell us why. Make it real. The contest closes on Christmas Eve. I am posting this to my "The Spiritual Woman" group, but for this one, will accept entrants from all over the Cafe. Prizescontribution to awareness
