The Great Limerick Contest  August 23, 2012 - September 23, 2012

"There once was a man from Nantucket
Who kept all his cash in a bucket.
But his daughter, named Nan,
Ran away with a man
And as for the bucket, Nantucket."

Limericks have been known throughout the world for their comedic nature. While most are quick narratives about a man from Nantucket (whose promiscuous activities will remain undisclosed), limerick topics can range from one end of the horizon to the other.

In the contest, give me an original limerick. It can be serious or comedic - whichever is fine by me.

One thing I ask is that you do not submit "anti-limericks;" save them for another contest, as they will be disregarded in this one.

I look forward to some good ones, guys. Don't disappoint me.
