A lot of people don't know, but before it was a movie, the brothers Grimm actually existed and they wrote "grim" versions of the happy Disney classics that are around now. So here's the challenge: write a story in true Grimm fashion. Twist the stories and make them your own. I wrote my own version of Cinderella a few years back and it was really fun. If you're having trouble getting started, here's a few possibilities: Cinderella Little Red Riding Hood Snow White Rumpelstiltzkin Rapunzel Hansel and Gretel The Frog Prince Twelve Dancing Princesses Sleeping Beauty Pocahontas Beauty and the Beast Little Mermaid Alice in Wonderland Aladdin etc....
