I am looking for people who can write the most inspiring story about their life of how you overcame either medical, life challenges, divorce children, death, whatever but please real stories.

Here are the rules:

Anyone can enter this contest. If you are under the age of 18 you need to provide me with your phone number and the name of your parents so that I can get permission from them to use your writings if you are the winner.

Any true life story about how you over came something in life that is inspiring. There are no stories that promote any violence but stories about how you overcame violence is fine, if you are unsure submit it anyways and we will let you know what we think. We will also let you know if you should make changes if there is promotion of bad morals. We ask that there is no cursing, no hatred toward others like calling black people outside their names, if it has happened to you just use another wording that disrespectful words.

We would like all submissions to be submitted no later than midnight on December 31, 2009. The submissions will be judged by the board members of A Cure for Bassen Kornzweig Foundation for which I am the president of. We will then pick three winners. The winners will be notified by email.

Prizes:

1st place: A feature spot on our website (www.bassenkornzweigfoundation.org ), promotion on Twitter, and Facebook, and Myspace for 6 months. The writing will also be included in out weekly and monthly newsletter for 6 months. We will include the writing in our up coming book. We will also provide the winner if over the age of 18 with a $100 cash prize if the winner is under the age of 18 they will receive a $100 Visa gift card that can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.

2nd place: A feature spot on our website for 3 months, promotion on Twitter and Facebook, The writing will be included in our monthly newsletter for 3 months, and be included in our upcoming book. We will also provide the winner if over the age of 18 with a $50 cash prize if the winner is under the age of 18 they will receive a $50 Visa gift card that can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.

3rd place: A feature spot on our website for 1 month, promotion on Twitter. The writing will be included in our monthly newsletter for 1 month, and be included in our upcoming book. We will also provide the winner if over the age of 18 with a $25 cash prize if the winner is under the age of 18 they will receive a $25 Visa gift card that can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.

This contest is open to any one of any age. The writing must be submitted via email to [email protected] in the form of a word document and attached to the email in the email body please put your name, address, phone number, email address, parents contact info if under 18 this means their names and a phone number we will send you confirmation that we got your entry you can submit up to three different stories. Please also make sure that if you use other people in your story that you have permission to use their name or just change their names.
