Poems can be any theme but please avoid profanity. All poems can be up to 40 lines + title.
This contest is open to all poets in the United States.
You do not need to be an unpublished poet, but the poems you submit must be unpublished.
Winners will be announced publicly on December 1, 2007 on the WolverinePublications.net Website. Competitors may request a list of winners with an e-mail inquiry to: PoetryContest@WolverinePublications.net after December 1, 2007. Winners will also be notified by e-mail and/or US mail.

Prizes

$1St place $500 , 2nd Place $300 , 2 Honorable mentions @ $100 each, The best 200 poems picked by our editorial staff will have the chance to be published in our Anthology "Sounds of Silence" at no cost to the authors. Top 4 cash winners will recieve a copy of the book free and others at printing cost.
