Your Top Three Short Stories  August 3, 2011 - September 3, 2011

To be frank, I have a lot of free time on my hands. It's summer, I'm lazy, the house is full of food and there's a working computer and T.V. Not exactly the formula for productivity. On top of all that, I am also suffering from writer's block (to be more specific: lack of inspiration). Here's where you come in! There are so many great writers on this website, so it makes sense that there are quite a few great short stories out there. Well, I want to read them!

RULES:
-since it is "Your Top Three Short Stories", you may only enter three pieces of writing (however, you can just enter one, or two...it is really up to you)
-the term "short stories" is relative. I know that I couldn't write a single paragraph story to save my life. If you can, awesome! Enter it! If you can't, I share your pain, enter it (it will just take me longer to read it...obviously)
-while relative, short story still means short story. no chapters or books.
-no specific genre, so you can write about anything (I'm even going to accept mature writing, but nothing too overboard - you're going to have to judge what "too overboard" means for yourself. Don't worry, I have faith in you)

So, yeah. That's it. Hopefully, if all goes well, the winner's story will have inspired me to start writing again (not meaning that I'm going to steal your idea, I just need motivation)!
