all forms are game: modern, traditional, senryu, hybrid -- heck even tanka. You do not need to keep 5-7-5, there is no discouraging it though. i encourage content above structure. titled haiku are not necessary but also not discouraged. find what's best for you. the haiku can be between 1-3 lines, maybe four if you think you can do it. but please no more than 17 syllables. the theme will be broad: seasonal food.
